I’m Kendall Jenrette. I’m a licensed general contractor and real estate agent as well as a handyman / jack of all trades.
I’m here to share some of my experiences while in the home improvement and real estate industry; INCLUDING, home improvement how-to’s, renovation and repair tips and strategies, product reviews and demonstrations, and real estate insights.
NOW LET ME TELL YOU WHY …
During my lifetime our world has become a truly digital society. This seemingly never-ending development has caused us to continually increase the pace at which we live life.
TAKE PHONES FOR EXAMPLE – we’ve gone from rotary house phones where you had to sit down or be stationary to communicate (remember the spiral cords), then we moved to cordless phones which allowed us to talk and walk around in our immediate surroundings without the cord (a major multi-tasking history moment), finally we’ve transitioned to cellular phones and we can communicate with each other from almost anywhere.
BUT NOW, even the phone calls themselves take too much of our time, as Texting is quickly becoming the preferred method of communication.
And as a result of these changes, large amounts of information that has historically been shared through face-to-face in-person experiences are being lost.
I want to encourage people to GET OUT THERE AND ACTIVELY DO STUFF WITH OUR OWN HANDS. For the last 50 years, the rate of homeownership in our country on average has remained unchanged.
BUT, from my own observations, people seem to know LESS AND LESS about maintaining and improving a property.
HOWEVER, with the increasing number of people that own, live in, and invest in real estate, I believe that this information is still very relevant and useful today; regardless of WHETHER OR NOT YOU EVER LIFT A FINGER TO DO IT YOURSELF.
Through photos, video, and blog, I want my content to serve as a renovation & repair resource for ANYONE THAT IS INTERESTED IN OR PASSIONATE ABOUT RENOVATION, REMODELING, REPAIRS, and of course REAL ESTATE.
