THE BABBLING BROOK HOUSE
The scope of work that we performed in the master bedroom was relatively straightforward.
The first thing that we did was install quarter-inch drywall over the existing stippled ceiling to give it a more up-to-date smooth finish. We also replaced the doors and hardware from the bedroom to the hallway as well as the door leading into the master bathroom and closets.
Obviously, the green paint had to go! So we painted the walls and a neutral gray tone that was consistent with new paint colors throughout the house.
We installed a ceiling fan with four lights to provide the room with adequate lighting. And finally, we installed new carpet and pad.
