It’s a really close call but the basement space may have undergone the biggest transformation. We started by removing the seemingly endless number of layers of carpet from the concrete floors. We then removed the drop ceiling and all of the wood paneling. Next, we demoed the gigantic fireplace in the center of the room. We replaced all windows and doors.

We decided to go with exposed ceilings and we primed them and painted them black. We installed new drywall on all walls as well as new trim. We painted walls and trim and installed a neutral color luxury vinyl. We also installed two ceiling fans with led lights to brighten up the space.
